Nickel-plated revolver with pinfire cartridge from the manufacturer "JANSEN Freres", period 1870 - 1880, 19th century. Luxury version of this model entirely nickel-plated in a state of conservation quite close to new. Beautiful walnut stock with two plates with central transverse fixing and cap ring. Octagonal barrel with barley grain type sight and manufacturer's hallmarks "JF" & "L étoilé". Smooth cylinder without groove with 6 shots in caliber 9 m/m. Hallmark on barrel "ELG starred in oval and "L starred". Nickel-plated frame with loading door on the right lifting upwards and locked at the bottom by a leaf spring, see photos. Smooth trigger under oval trigger guard fixed to the frame by 2 screws. Double-acting lock with raised volute crest hammer with slight checkering and flat firing pin. Lateral case extraction rod on the right side, mounted in its housing. Mechanism in perfect working order. Length: 24 cm Barrel length: 12 cm Weight: 600 grs.
