"Christofle Paris 19th Century Silver Plated Bronze Centerpiece"

Superb 19th century centerpiece (around 1860 - 1880) in silver-plated bronze from Christofle in Paris.

The circular base rests on three feline-headed sabot feet. The body is formed of a vine stock with coiled branches and three putti carrying cups and bunches of grapes.

Hallmarks under the base "Christofle", letter "X" under the feet and bears the number "461942" (see photos). Very good condition. Its receptacle is missing.

Height: 41 cm. Diameter: 30 cm. Diameter of the receptacle: 12 cm. Weight: 10.8 kg! Superb quality!
