Silk From The 18 Th Century

Provençal quilted  blanket in gros de Tours  silk,paperbacked,decorated with trendy roses,sinueux ribbons,stripes,typical of the decorative repertoire of the transition  period Louis xv Louis  xvı in an absolutely remarkable  stage of conservation.
Great structural solidité of the silk from the 18th century period with no wear,probably mounted as a quitter blanket during the first part of the 19thc.
Beautiful colors.
the back of the cotton cover printemps with small patterns in made up of different pièces as was commander at the time. 
A few small sains to report  and slight discoloration only on the back.
No halos or stains  on the silk side.
Some heart-shaped stiiching.
