"Louis XV Solid Wood Sloping Desk. End Of The Eighteenth, Beginning Of The Nineteenth Century."
Louis XV style sloping or donkey's back desk in oak with scalloped crosspieces and resting on four arched legs; it opens with a flap equipped with three locks, two of which are eccentric eighteenth century and without a key and revealing a chapel with curved drawers framing a shelf and five sliding secrets. Very minimal restorations have been made. Northern France. End of the eighteenth, perhaps beginning of the nineteenth century.
