Oil on paper mounted on panel "La Seine au Pont de Courbevoie" signed lower right A. FranCAIS. Numbered, titled, dated and countersigned on the back of the panel: Book VII No. 700 La Seine au Pont de Courbevoie End of June 1960. Annotation specifying that it is an oil painting and that it is an original. Anne Français (1909-1995) was a student at the Académie Julian from 1925 and later at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. She participated in the Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon des Tuileries, the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon d'Automne among others. Many national and international museums hold her works. A plexiglass plate has been affixed against the oil on paper. Some cracks on the plate. Painting in good condition.
