Straight Collar Breastplate - Embroidered Tulle - Silver Metallic Thread - Antique Costume Piece

Old piece of women's costume made of mechanical cotton tulle, lined with a silver metallic thread like the embroidery itself treated with silver thread. In order to be kept straight, the collar is armed with small flexible yellow celluloid hoses (see detailed photo). Drawstrings housed under a tunnel and located at the top and bottom ensure the plastron is held in place. Very high quality piece, in excellent condition, unwashed.
