Set of three washes representing views of cities probably in Tuscany around Florence. These washes are probably from a travel diary kept during the "Grand Tour" that young men of the time did in order to perfect their knowledge of the world. These washes of a beautiful quality of execution include pencil annotations (not deciphered) as well as the date of 1789 on one of them. They are preserved under glass bordered with bronze patina paper and are enhanced with a passe-partout with threads.
