"18th Century - Sienne - Cherry Wood Inlaid Triangular Table"
Splendid Sienese triangular table in solid cherry, inlaid in olive with crescents from the coat of arms of the Piccolomini family from which the object comes. An 18th century work, it has 3 legs ending in a goat's leg, all completely hand-carved with extreme mastery. The top has a reconsolidated fracture. One of the 3 legs, following a break, has been reinforced with a connecting pin. The numerous woodworm holes do not compromise the solidity of the piece. ???? Dim. cm 55 x 65 x 72H
