Set of six "Tonneau" model chairs created by Pierre Guariche in the 1950s-1960s and published by Steiner. Black lacquered metal frame and molded plywood seat covered in skai typical of this post-war period marked by technical and aesthetic innovation. These chairs perfectly illustrate the revival of French design in the 1950s-1960s, seeking forms that were functional, light and refined. Very good condition.
