"Two Column Microscope, Circa 1880"
Very good example of this classic of the French microscope of the end of the 19th century: a two-column microscope on a blackened or green cast iron stand as here. This example is not signed but one can find models on a green cast iron stand, similar to ours, signed by Radiguet. The microscope is in very good condition, complete and perfectly working. It retains two eyepieces and two objectives, its condenser lens mounted on a ring, the black and white circle, two dissection instruments, a clamp and some amateur preparations. The whole is well preserved in its original mahogany transport box. The box measures 27x13x9cm.
