Large Empire Style Lamp, Height 80 Cm

Large old oil lamp, in dark green painted sheet metal from the late 19th century.
Square base in polished bronze resting on four lion paw feet.
Openwork brass ornament on the bottom.
New electrification: gilded brass socket for E27 screw bulb, new wire.
The power supply is mounted inside the foot.
The Spanish square lampshade with eight sides was created from a fabric from Braquenié "la maternelle".
Please note: wear of the paint on the barrel and slight dent on the brass ring at the top, visible in the photos
