Marble Marquetry Coffee Table

Large coffee table or living room table dating from the first half of the 20th century, the marble marquetry top of which is reminiscent of certain floors from Greco-Roman antiquity.
The top is therefore made up of a marquetry of different marbles with wave patterns, to the touch the top is very slightly irregular like an old floor.
there is sea green, turquoise blue and sienna yellow, set in a black marble surround mounted with miter cuts.
The top is very thick, it rests on a base in the shape of an antique console, molded and carved with flowers. The whole is in excellent condition.
A small restoration on a corner of the top is almost invisible.

A large living room table entirely in marble and very original.
