Monoxyl Walnut Pitcher, Auvergne, 19th Century

Charming monoxyl wooden pitcher, carved from a single block of walnut and circled with iron. This type of piece, typical of Auvergne folk crafts, was commonly used for serving liquids.
The object has a beautiful patina of time, testifying to its authenticity and use.

Note an old repair on the handle, glued back on (see photos).

(3) - Possibility of possible delivery: by us in France and neighboring countries on request and delivery of movable objects in person, only for important and very fragile pieces. (and according to our availability and payment in full and in advance: price + transport).
