Reliquary in Paperolles and Golden Frame – 19th Century Superb reliquary from the 19th century, finely made in paperolles and presented in an octagonal frame in gilded wood richly carved with rocaille motifs.
In the center, a delicate pious image, surrounded by a refined decoration composed of golden paperolles, pearls and floral elements meticulously arranged. Latin inscriptions on parchment accompany the composition, testifying to the care taken in this devotional piece (see photos).
The whole is protected under original glass, preserving all the authenticity and finesse of the craftsmanship.
