The rim is decorated with enamel "pearls" on a gold godet. Three rows of twisted vermeil wire surround the setting of the motif. The back side is plain. Inside, a compartment closed by a domed glass in a hinged frame protects the photo of a lovely young woman from the beginning of the 20th century. Crab and manufacturer's hallmarks (illegible) on the fixed ring of the bail.
In its wooden case covered with paper imitating leather decorated with a small iron numbered with the initials LB Lined with satin and cream velvet, the interior is marked:
