Magnificent writing desk in rosewood with a precious decoration in mother-of-pearl.
19th century.

Lock with original working key.

It opens by a small flap at the top, lockable.
This one opens on compartments containing 1 crystal inkwell with original safety closure.
The small open flap allows the larger flap located below to open on a black leather top.
The upper part, equipped with a tongue, also serves as a folding flap to reveal a paper compartment.

Period: Second half of the 19th century
