"Set Of 6 Louis XVI Chairs, 18th Century – Original Painting"
Set of six Louis XVI period chairs, with an old patina and their original paint. The seats are made of old straw, with natural variations related to their use. The chairs rest on tapered and fluted front legs, as well as on four turned rear legs. The connecting bar of the base is also fluted, bringing a beautiful coherence to the design. The backrest called “à la grecque” gives the whole an elegant line. The straw covers are carved with sequin patterns. Each chair is accompanied by a cushion made from a quilted blanket from the early 19th century
