Rare set of 4 original Art Nouveau lithographs "The Seasons" by Alphonse Mucha, dated 1901.

Magnificent lithographs representing the seasons with their stylized friezes at the top and their original holes on each to hang them. They are signed "Mucha" towards the bottom. This is a rare version because it is the calendar version of 1901. The calendars down have been cut.

Height: 34.5 cm. Width: 15 cm. Good condition. Note a few small tears (see photos). This version has only been on sale once (with its calendars underneath). It was sold at Christie's in 2009 for 27,500 GBP (approx. 33.000 euros : see last photo).
