"Gold Enamelled Opaline Box, Desvignes Design, Charles X Period"
Elegant white opaline box dating from the Charles X period (1824-1830), attributed to the design of Jean-Baptiste Desvignes. Its lid is delicately enameled in gold with refined motifs typical of the Restoration style. The finely chiseled gilt bronze frame, decorated with an ornamental clasp, gives this piece a precious and luxurious character. A collector's item and an object of refinement, this box illustrates the excellence of glassmaking and ornamental know-how from the beginning of the 19th century.
