Rare pair of terracotta busts by Golcheider representing 2 Kabyles Antar and Abla.
Referenced in the catalog of Golcheider's work by Robert E. Dechant page 306.
These pieces are numbered 926 and 927. According to the catalog they were made in 1895 by Strasser Arthur for Antar and by Désurmont Gil D for Abla.
With a height of approximately 36cm these busts are in good condition, no cracks or shocks, normal wear of the gilding and patina.
