"Kiss Of Peace, Gilt Bronze, 19th Century"
Kiss of peace made of cast bronze, in bas-relief and repoussé, gilded. In the center is Christ on the cross, flanked by two columns, acanthus leaves, two cherubs' heads and surmounted by a cross in glory. The osculatory rests on its face on a horizontal base and is supported at the back by a handle with a thumb rest. Circa 1800 Height: 13.5 cm Width: 9 cm Weight: 263 g Very good condition, wear of the gilding in the central part. No restoration or damage to report.
