This beautiful oil on canvas is in very good condition, with some minimal traces of time. It was previously restored, we can see "a piece" on the back. Its beautiful thick frame is also in very good condition. Théodore Lévigne (1848-1912), is a well-rated artist from Lyon. His works are regularly sold in auction rooms. His still lifes with fish are quite rare (last photos). Here, a carp and a white fish, probably a rudd. Dimensions with its frame: 82 x 63 cm. Dimensions without its frame: 61 x 43 cm. This painting is too big for me to send it. It is to be collected in Saint-Marcellin, halfway between Grenoble and Valence.
