Beautiful and rare mahogany chest of drawers with two drawers, brass inlays and gilded bronze applications, made by Heinrich Gambs, certainly early 19th century in his workshop in Saint Petersburg. He was a collaborator of David Röntgen in Neuwied. (The most famous of cabinetmakers) At the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg is exhibited a piece of furniture also made in Gambs' workshop, with the same bronzes. The chest of drawers is in very good condition.
