"Large Teapot Or Jug In 19th Century Guilloché Silver"
Silver teapot finely guilloché with lines and small dots. It rests on four lion claw feet, spherical body, narrowed neck, handle and spout well detached decorated at their base with acanthus leaves, handle held by two fine ivory rings, lid with handle in the shape of a blossoming flower. Numbered with the initials "JB" in medallions on the sides
Used condition, some small dents, tip of the spout slightly deformed
Period 19th century Silver (minerva) and goldsmith's hallmarks
