"Silver Reliquary Door, France Circa 1900"
Reliquary holder Small oval silver box, mounted on a hinge. It is decorated in repoussé with a bust of the Virgin Mary and a crucifixion scene with Mary Magdalene on a background representing Jerusalem. The box has an orifice for passing a ring to be used as a pendant. France, late 19th century Silver (at least 800/1000), boar's head hallmark Usable for a reliquary of the following dimensions: Length: 2.6 cm Width: 2.38 cm Thickness: 0.6 cm Hole: 0.35 x 0.2 cm Weight: 6.3 g Very good condition.
