Inspired by ancient monuments, this console with very architectural shapes opens with a large drawer on the front topped with its white Carrara marble. This sober model made entirely of walnut and devoid of any bronze ornamentation, except for the lock entry with "winged victories", goes well with both old and contemporary items. The very raised crotch shelf gives a lightness to the console. Walnut veneer and solid walnut. A small lack under the left column. Very good condition without any restoration. France, first quarter of the 19th century.
