Late 18th century Directoire period clock, Caillaud in Paris, very beautiful quality of the black marble, fluted on the 3 sides, gilded bronze lion. Large original 18th century wire movement revised by watchmaker with its balance and keys, mercury-gilded Directoire hands. Dial signed by the watchmaker. Some minor grains and 2 small marble losses.
