SAILORS' SABRE OF THE PORTS, July Monarchy. 30697 Brass mount, on the model of the Corps of Sailors of the Guard created in 1804 by the furnisher DUC. Blade with back signed "Manufre de Klingenthal Coulaux Aîné & Cie" (1836-1840), curved with hollow sides, length 60.8 cm, 3.3 cm at the heel and approximately 8 cm of arrow, with a strong bevel of point. Black patent leather scabbard, with three brass fittings with scalloped edges. Chape, central bracelet, brass rings. End of the scabbard decorated with lines with brass dart. Brass bail ring studs.
