Oil on canvas circa 1950 signed by Jonathan Zutter (1928-1998). This work, in the style of Jean-Baptiste Corot, represents Villeneuve-lès-Avignon with in the background the fort Saint-André on Mont Andaon, a rocky spur culminating at about 50 meters above the Rhône.

Some slight lack of paint at the very top of the canvas at sky level (see photos).
