Beautiful patinated bronze bust depicting "The Comedy" resting on a Red Griotte marble base, signed Van Der Straeten.
For George Van Der Straeten , a Belgian sculptor (Ghent 1856 - Ghent 1928).
Small note : a bronze rod from the red marble base is missing (see photo).
