"The Entombment Around 1550/1580 Bas Relief"
Alabaster medallion carved in low relief and polychromed representing the entombment. Christ is lying above the Holy Sepulchre, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus holding the ends of the shroud; the Virgin, hands joined, stands before her Son, framed by Mary Magdalene and Saint John. Spain?, 16th century. Diameter: 16.2 cm (restorations)
