"Louis XVI Style Patinated Molded Armchair"
Patinated fireside chair in molded wood in the Louis XVI style. Low chair called "nurse's chair". The backrest is medallion-shaped with two roses carved in the middle. The legs are turned and fluted, ending in cubes with a rosette inside. The old-fashioned upholstery is in good condition, covered with ivory-colored embossed velvet. Late 19th century.
