A RARE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT-BRONZE AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRAVEL CLOCK. The case in the style of an officer's clock, ornamentally enameled, with a scrolled swing handle, on four spinning top feet. The twelve-piece enameled dial with Roman numerals, with push-piece repeater above. The double-barrel clock-type movement with lever-operated platform escapement, striking on a spiral steel gong. The back plate marked 'PARIS 1720', 26 cm high.
