"19th Century Two-body Walnut Bookcase"
Large two-part bookcase from the Restoration period in solid walnut circa 1830. The lower body opens with 2 large doors. Very beautiful molding under the top as well as the lower plinth which rests on console feet. The upper body set back from the lower one by 16 cm opens with 2 large glass doors, fitted with a large period cremone bolt lock for a single closing of the two doors, which is much more practical in use. This bookcase originally has 5 height-adjustable shelves, 2 for the lower part and 3 in the upper part (on request more can be added depending on the desired layout). This bookcase, which offers a large storage capacity, is of very good quality and it should be noted that something is not common: it is entirely and even the bottoms in solid walnut. Bookcase entirely original, locks, bronze lock entries, keys and old period glass, in perfect condition and revarnished with a buffer.
