Polychrome wood sculpture depicting a half-naked child, accompanied by a cloth fluttering in the wind that partially covers him, and standing with a marked contrapposto, a movement softened by the position of the hands and the expression of the face, the head inclined. It is possible that this is a sculpture of the Child Jesus, given the similarity it presents with sculpted groups or painted scenes composed of various figures (rather the Child with Saint John than the Holy Family) from the Baroque period. -
