Small rectangular chest with a flat lid, with a lock in the shape of a shield in worked gilded metal (crown on two facing lions, placed on a large garland, and all around a symmetrical composition with foliage and other elements). The piece presents a typology common to Spanish art since the Middle Ages, the shield bringing the movement and decorative abundance characteristic of the Baroque. -
