Sculpture of a seated woman, plaster, France, circa 1935. Rare Art Deco period sculpture by the artist. Signed on the base. Born in England in 1904, died in France in 1995, she was the wife of Paul Bret (1902-1956) painter. She exhibited at the Nationale des Beaux-arts in 1935 (bust of a young girl) and 1936 (nude). Three boxes of old photos of her works are kept at the Kandinsky library in Beaubourg. Height 85 cm, length 55 cm, depth 45 cm
