Painter of compositions with figures, landscapes, urban landscapes, seascapes, pastellist. Post-Impressionism.
He was a student of Dameron, A. de Richemont and LO Merson. An exhibitor at the Salon des Artistes Français, he received an honorable mention in 1909, a silver medal in 1921, became a member, received a gold medal in 1935, and was ranked hors concours in 1939.
A landscape painter, he was awarded the Prix de l'Association amicale des paysagistes français.
His favorite subjects were generally landscapes, seascapes, and scenes of Breton life.
