Precious small Flemish oil on copper from the 17th century, depicting the Adoration of the Magi. Against the backdrop of a columned portico in a night landscape, the protagonists are very finely painted in shimmering colors. The presentation in a magnificent tabernacle frame (19th century) reinforces the impression of a "little gem" that this painting gives off. Total dimensions: 32.5 X 28.5 cm, and 15.5 X 12.5 cm for the copper alone.
