Watercolor of the cathedral of Lunéville by MILANI delivery possible Information 06 09 03 18 46 or napoliantic@gmail.com Landscape watercolorist, he was born in Vitry-sur-Orne (57) in 1907 and died on March 11, 1991. Student of the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Nancy with Bauvry and Louis Montagné. After beginnings as a sculptor and earthenware maker in Saint-Clément, Armand Milani made a name for himself as a painter by participating in numerous Lorraine exhibitions from 1933 (Salon des Artistes Lorrains in Nancy, Salon des Provinces Françaises in Metz, Salon des Artistes d'Epinal where he won a Second Grand Prix). He visited Alsace, Brittany, the South of France, Germany, Switzerland, always in search of nature which he painted in all its aspects and in all seasons. He also won the Grand Prix du Sénat in Paris, the Grand Prix des Sept Collines in Rome and was ranked Hors Concours at the European Exhibition in Strasbourg. Armand MILANI was a member of the Artistes Français in Paris. At the Exhibition La Vallée de la Mortagne vue par les peintres, organized by Maurice Noël in Gerbéviller in 1971, he presented 14 watercolors (Mont-sur-Meurthe, Gerbéviller, Franconville, Fraimboios, Essey-la-Côte, Remenoville).
