"Napoleon III Sideboard In Boulle Marquetry, 19th Century"
Lovely sideboard with support height in Boulle marquetry. It is a blackened wooden frame receiving a magnificent marquetry called Boulle, mixing red tortoiseshell and brass in a very rich Louis XIV style decor. This piece of furniture opens with a door revealing 2 adjustable shelves. A beautiful bronze trim completes the whole (altered gilding of the bronzes). Finally, a black granite stone tops this beautiful piece of furniture. Overhauled by a cabinetmaker, the marquetry is in very good condition. Napoleon III period circa 1860. Delivery by carrier to the ground floor in front of your home in a wooden crate on a pallet (bulky packaging), 280 euros in France, 600 euros in the EU and 1500 euros rest of the world.
