Pair of bedside tables, Lombard manufacture, second half of the 18th century.
Wood, bronze and bone.
Measures: cm. 76 x 45 x 33 cm.
The two bedside tables are veneered in fine woods, including rosewood, maple and Indian walnut and inlaid with bone decorations, both on the front and on the sides of the furniture. The front conceals a drawer with hidden compartments; both the drawer and all the doors are decorated with bronze handles with putto heads.
