VERY BEAUTIFUL 19TH CENTURY CIGARETTE HOLDER HEAD. CREIL AND MONTEREAU MANUFACTURER CIRCA 1870. PORCELAIN / BISCUIT. THE HEAD RECEIVED CIGARETTES OR LARGE MATCHES IN THE TOP OF THE HAT. THE BRIM OF THE HAT SERVED AS A SCRAPER FOR MATCHES. THE HEAD CAN BE HUNG ON THE WALL. BEAUTIFUL POLYCHROMY AND GOOD CONDITION. RARE COLLECTOR'S PIECE.
