"Pair Of Louis XV Bergeres, Flat Back "à La Reine"."
Pair of 18th century bergères with a wide backrest called “à la reine” in walnut. Wide inclined backrest in the shape of a violin at the top and ending in a carved decoration of volutes and flowers. The low armrests are curved. The low seat rests on arched legs ending in volutes at the front, in carved leaves on the rear legs. Decorations of flowers and foliage on the face of the belt and in cartouches on the corner of the legs. Upholstery and cover are contemporary, the silk is Louis XV style (Ref “Vénézia OR” Antoine d'Albiousse publisher, some slight localized stains). Good general condition, note traces of points under the lower crossbar of the backrest. Other photos and information on request.
