Rosewood veneer coffee table inlaid with quatrefoil latticework known as the Queen's, in ebony frames alternating with sycamore. It opens to a drawer in the belt forming a writing desk with a leather-covered drop-leaf shelf and compartments lined with a silver-plated writing set. Sloped uprights ending in a cambered base joined by a spacer shelf with an openwork gallery. Closed sabot feet on olive wood casters. White veined marble top set with a chased and gilded bronze gallery. Unsigned Dusautoy model. Transition period, 18th century
