Beautiful tone and good general condition of the photographs. Séraphin-Médéric MIEUSEMENT (1840-1905) is a French photographer of historical monuments and religious buildings. Appointed photographer attached to the commission of historical monuments, Mieusement will travel France to create his large album. He won a silver medal at the Universal Exhibition in 1878 for his photographs of monuments undergoing restoration. Built between 1864 and 1872, the Chapel is a building that combines neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles.
