"Empire Period Silk Painting"
Silk painting with two vestals as its central motif in a palmette decor. Two cherub friezes complete the decor. The painting of good size (Height: 74 cm) of great delicacy is treated with white and gray wash on an off-white silk support. Small tear in the silk. Empire period: early 19th century The silk in a mahogany frame is protected by a glass pane, hence the white reflections in the photos. Delivery costs in France by Colissimo with tracking: 50 euros
