Beautiful and delicate scene from the 18th or early 19th century depicting a peasant harnessing two horses to a cart. Charming little dog. Many nice details such as the opening in the roof, the bucket, the broom. On the right giving a beautiful depth to the painting, perched birds, another peasant working in front of a landscape rich in details. The general composition, the soft light, gives an effect, a calm and serene atmosphere. Our work is in perfect condition, painted on an oak panel of 24.5 cm x 20 cm. The frame is old in good condition, can be cleaned. Total dimensions 43 cm x 39 cm. No signature but certainly the work of a talented artist.
