Württembergische Metallwarnfabrik, German manufacturer active from 1880 to the present day. Founded by Daniel Straub, it became the greatest potentate of metallurgy at the beginning of the 20th century. It signed its works with a running ostrich inscribed in a lozenge or a frame enclosed by a semicircle. This animal was the heraldic mark of the Straub family. The individual and high-quality works earned the company numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the exhibitions in Paris in 1900 and Turin in 1902.
