Superb Empire dressing table in mahogany and burl mahogany veneer featuring a large, rectangular pivoting mirror with an arched top. This mirror is surrounded by columns adorned with chiseled bronze rings at the top and bottom. They are topped with a mahogany arch following the lines of the mirror. This set rests on a Belgian granite marble topping the apron, opening with a drawer. The drawer is equipped with a functional lock, a key, and a finely crafted gilt bronze entry. This dressing table has columns at the front adorned with bronze rings and collars. The legs at the back are straight. They rest on a concave base, ensuring stability. Ideal for a bedroom or dressing room, this refined Empire dressing table is the perfect example of Empire style craftsmanship and design. ******** Period: Early 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
